Well I decided to suck it in and take the hour long trip over to Olympic Park for Supanova today.
I only ended up staying for an hour, but that was mostly because I only went down there to scope out the booths and confirm that what we’re planning for eGames will actually work. I also only paid for an hour parking (since that’s all the change I had), then couldn’t be bothered adding more once the time ran out.
In terms of games content, there was pretty much just the Activison booth. They had GHII, MUA & COD3 all playable. There was also a Star Wars Galaxy trailer looping on an additional screen. Unfortunately none of the screens were HD which made COD3, in particular, look a little worse than I’ve seen before.
The rest of the 40 odd booths were pretty much all anime content. I used to be very heavily into anime, but I’ve lost a fair bit of interest in it lately so it was pretty underwhelming.
